
What to Expect
The therapeutic process begins here…
Start with Completing Documents
You will complete a total of six documents electronically; legally, documents must be signed by client in order to receive services. All services are conducted online through a secure and HIPPA compliant Telehealth App which may be downloaded to your phone, tablet or PC. Once documents are completed you may schedule an appointment with your therapist and proceed by scheduling an initial session.
Therapy begins
Your Initial appointment with your therapist will consist of building a rapport and sharing details about the reasons you would like to participate in therapy. You will be asked a series of questions reporting pertinent historical information to better understand your concerns. This usually takes place within an hour’s time concluding with how often you will engage in therapy (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, once a month). During the following session you will create a treatment plan, establishing personal goals for therapy.
Therapeutic Treatment
How long will I be in therapy? The therapeutic process can take some time. The idea is to identify your concerns, understand the underlying root and environmental factors contributing to the issues at hand. During this time you will gain insight establishing a new found relationship with self; learning to cope in a healthy way and navigate life’s journey. This is usually demonstrated by one’s ability to manage daily functioning within important areas of life such as work, school, community, and self-care. Once you and your therapist have determined set goals have been met; you’re encouraged to continue your journey with periodic follow-up sessions or choosing to re-engage in treatment as needed .
